The Wrong Train

Last Friday, Noura decided to visit a nearby town for the weekend. She had heard that the town was beautiful, especially in the morning when the streets were quiet and the small shops were opening. She wanted to take some photos, try the local food, and spend a few hours away from her usual routine.

في يوم الجمعة الماضي، قررت نورا زيارة بلدة قريبة خلال عطلة نهاية الأسبوع. كانت قد سمعت أن البلدة جميلة، خاصة في الصباح عندما تكون الشوارع هادئة والمتاجر الصغيرة تفتح أبوابها. أرادت أن تلتقط بعض الصور، وتجرب الطعام المحلي، وتقضي بضع ساعات بعيدًا عن روتينها المعتاد.

She arrived at the train station early because she did not want to miss the train. She bought her ticket, checked the departure time, and sat on a bench while she waited.

For a moment, she did not know what to do. She felt embarrassed and worried that she might waste the whole day. Then she remembered that there was another train from the next station that could take her back.
