Emma lived in a small village with her parents. Behind their house, there was an empty piece of land. Every morning, Emma looked at it and imagined a beautiful garden full of colorful flowers, green trees, and singing birds.
One Saturday, Emma said to her parents, “I want to make this place beautiful.”
Her parents smiled and gave her some old gardening tools. Emma started cleaning the land. It was hard work because there were many rocks and dry leaves everywhere.
The next day, her best friend Lily came to help. Together, they planted flower seeds, small trees, and fresh vegetables. Every afternoon after school, they watered the plants and removed the weeds.
Days passed, but nothing happened. Emma felt a little sad.
Lily said, “Don't give up. Good things take time.”
Emma listened to her friend and continued taking care of the garden every day.
A few weeks later, tiny green leaves appeared. Soon, colorful flowers bloomed. Butterflies flew from flower to flower, and birds started singing in the trees.
People from the village came to visit the garden. They loved its beauty and peaceful atmosphere.
The village leader thanked Emma and Lily for their hard work. He said, “Your garden has made everyone smile.”
